Children & Teen MinistriesThere Is Always Something for the Kids at Knobs:
The Children's Ministry is an exciting part of our church. A great deal of care and planning goes into designing a Sunday School program that will offer the training needed at various ages. The goal of Sunday School program is showing how Bible truths are relevant for children at all levels. Several other programs are offered that enhance the overall Christian training of children. While parents attend church services, a Children’s Church program is conducted for four- twelve year olds on Sunday mornings. Every Tuesday nights at 6:00 p.m. is YOUTH NIGHT for 1st - 6th Grade. Our teens gather once a month for an exciting time of activities, food, fun, and powerful preaching. These meetings are designed to encourage spiritual growth, build friendships, and create lasting memories in a positive and uplifting environment. Teens leave inspired and equipped to live out their faith For more information on the Children's Ministry at Knobs Baptist Church, please contact the church at 217-567-3290 |

Soul Winning Ministry
Jesus said in Luke 19:10 that He came "to seek and to save that which was lost." His main mission was to save sinners and He has given us that same task today. Mark 16:15 - "Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature." Matthew 28:19-20 - "Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost: Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you alway, even unto the end of the world. Amen." With the Great Commission in mind we are striving to get the Good News of the Gospel out to a lost and dying world. We do this through our Church Wide Visitation Program on Thursday nights. We go door to door talking to people about Jesus. We also go out every Saturday for Bus visitation and soul winning. We understand it is our God given responsibility to be a witness for Jesus, and we strive to get the gospel out through every ministry of our church. Start today! |
