Children's MinistryThere Is Always Something for the Kids at Knobs:
The Children's Ministry is an exciting part of our church. A great deal of care and planning goes into designing a Sunday School program that will offer the training needed at various ages. The goal of Sunday School program is showing how Bible truths are relevant for children at all levels. Several other programs are offered that enhance the overall Christian training of children. While parents attend church services, a Children’s Church program is conducted for four- twelve year olds on Sunday mornings. On Wednesday nights, Our Bible Club is held concurrent with the midweek service. There is a class for first through sixth graders. The Bible Club emphasize the basics of the Christian faith, Scripture memorization, and activities. Missions
Our church strongly believes in carrying out the Lord's command to "go into all the world and preach the gospel to every creature." We presently support many domestic and foreign missionaries. FIVE THINGS YOU MUST UNDERSTAND TO BE SAVED You need to be saved, because all are sinners. “For all have sinned and come short of the glory of God.” (Romans 3:23) “Except a man be born again he cannot see the kingdom of God.” (John 3:3) You cannot save yourself. “Not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to His mercy He saved us.” (Titus 3:5) Jesus has provided for your salvation. “Who (Jesus) His own self bare our sins in His own body on the tree that we, being dead to sin, should live unto righteousness: by whose stripes ye are healed.” (1 Peter 2:24) “For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life.” (John 3:16) You must accept the Lord Jesus for your salvation. “Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ and thou shat be saved.” (Acts 16:31) “But as many as received Him to them gave He the power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on His name.” (John 1:12) “That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.” (Romans 10:9,10) Now is the time to accept the Lord Jesus as your Savior. “Behold, now is the accepted time, behold now is the day of salvation.” (2 Corinthians 6:2) “Wherefore as the Holy Ghost saith, Today if ye will hear his voice, Harden not your hearts…” (Hebrews 3:7,8) |
